Most people use the law of attraction for sports cars, mansions, and piles of cash. However, have you ever wondered why people want those things? Why do we want anything? It’s simple, for the FEELING of having it. Don’t get me wrong, wanting and asking for luxury goods is perfectly acceptable. The Universe doesn’t judge. The fact is, if you line up vibrationally with a Ferrari, you’ll attract it.

However, there’s a gap between when you place your order and line up vibrationally and when you receive your manifestation. So, how will you spend your time waiting for your order? What if you could FEEL the benefits of having what you want right now? That sense of freedom and the other ‘F’ word, Fun! The good news is you can. Here’s how to manifest more fun in your life in six simple steps!

Observe Serious People

A great way to get clear about what you want is to take a look at what you don’t want. Look at all those serious people, overthinking, doubting, double-checking and sceptical about everything. They look like they haven’t smiled in years! Now that’s not how I want to live my life, and you probably feel the same; otherwise, you wouldn’t be reading this. Unfortunately, we’re programmed to believe that work comes first and play comes later. Guess what? We’ll miss the whole point if we keep putting it off! All that seriousness sucks the joy out of life; research shows it could also cause serious health issues! So the next time you see a negative nelly, tell yourself, ‘I’d like the opposite of that, please!’

Prioritise Fun

We’re all vibrational beings, and FUN is very high on the vibration scale, attracting more fun and making those boring things fade away. Now you know what you don’t want, it’s time to prioritise what you DO want. We need to use the law of attraction, which is very simple. Like attracts like, and if you want to have more fun, you must prioritise it. Switch that focus around making work your number one (unless you get a kick out of your job, which means you’re already working with the Universe) and get serious about fun. Start your day by saying, ‘I’m open and ready to receive all the fun that’s coming my way today!’

Define Your Fun

The next important step is to think about what fun means for you. Everyone has a unique ‘fun print.’ For example, some people might think strolling antique markets is bliss, while others believe a good night out dancing or playing sports ticks the box. Have you ever stopped to consider what fun is to you? Make yourself a Fun List of everything you’ve ever done that tickle your fancy. Now, pick one and do it! Aim for one fun thing daily, and you’ll see your fun multiply. Stuck on ideas? Keep reading.

Try New Things

Our brains love variety for many reasons. To manifest more fun, focus on novelty. For example, there is a reason why we love to travel so much, going to a new place fills us with newness, but you don’t have to travel around the world. You can walk a different way to work, wear something different, like a bright colour for a change instead of your serious pants. You could also reach out and meet new people, join a local club or volunteer. Variety = FUN!

Make Time for the Things You Love

Happiness Islands are moments dedicated to the ‘F’ word in your week. We get this ONE incredible life, so why not make time for things we love? Grab that list of fun things and schedule them into your week; knowing they are in your calendar will fill you with a positive sense of anticipation. Take your fun events seriously, and don’t let work take its place. You’ll create a high-vibe feeling, attracting more high-vibe feelings.

Manifest More Fun With Games

Have you heard the classic 80’s Loverboy song, Everybody’s Working for the Weekend? Well, that’s not for you! You don’t have to wait for the weekend. You don’t need to wait to have fun; there are games you can play with your friends, family and co-workers that can add a splash of joy. Here are a few to choose from.

  • Find The Game

There are patterns and connections in our everyday life which present an opportunity to turn something into a fun pattern. My kids are great at this one, and it helps you develop your LOA muscles too. For example, you can play “Spot the _________ ” game. Choose something you’ll look for all day and count how many times you see it. Pick something unlikely but not impossible, like someone with blue hair. (Oh, by the way, now that you’ve read this, I can pretty much guarantee you will see someone with blue hair today!) Or expand on something that is happening; if you hear someone singing, join in and keep it going. Whatever it is, If you’re smiling, congratulations, you’ve found the game.

  • Gamify

Take those tedious tasks and turn them into a game, set a timer and see how quickly you can fold laundry. Try to improve your score every time. Give yourself points for everyday tasks and reward yourself for reaching your goal. Add the element of time and challenge, and you get the bonus of being productive.

  • Be Childlike

As kids, we didn’t need to manifest more fun; we were fun! Remember when you were a kid, and everything was exciting and interesting? A great game to play is called ‘How amazing is ______’ I like to play this one with my son; to play, we simply say, ‘How amazing is ______’ and then fill in the blank with something we see, like a tree. From there, we point out everything amazing about the tree.

For example, a tree has roots that get nutrients from the ground, grow from a tiny seed, use sun energy, and provide a home for birds. etc., children aren’t afraid to act silly and let their imaginations run wild. They haven’t started worrying so much about what everyone thinks of them. So learn a lesson from the kids. Enjoy the moment, be curious, and don’t think about what people think of you.

Have a Laugh

Go ahead, watch one of those cute cat videos, see a stand-up comedian, or select one of the many comedies on Netflix. Laughter has numerous health benefits, including reducing anxiety, and tension and decreasing feelings of depression. It’s a powerful tool to help fight serious conditions and diseases like hypertension, heart disease and diabetes.

It’s Scientific

Dr William F Fry of Stanford University states that laughter is an excellent aerobic exercise. He says that 100 laughs a day equals ten minutes of rowing or jogging! Lloyd (Journal of General Psychology, 1938) showed that laughter combines deep inhalation and full exhalation, inspiring excellent ventilation, wonderful rest and profound release. Laughing increases the capacity and oxygenation capabilities of the lungs.

Laughter has a built-in balancing mechanism with a two-step action of stimulation and relaxation because of the chemicals adrenaline and noradrenaline release. Those who enjoy a good laugh love that feeling of well-being and relief from minor stresses and strains of daily life.

Fun is a powerful tool for the Law of Attraction

In summary, when you manifest more fun, you feel incredibly free. Our feelings emit a vibration, and there is no better vibration than fun!
